Quarterly Club and Board Meetings
Meetings of the Club and Board shall be held no less than four (4) times a year, with at least one meeting in each calendar quarter. Members can submit ideas or items they want discussed via our Contact US Form at any time. Meeting Minutes are posted shortly after the meeting date.
The schedule for 2025 Board meetings is:

- Q3: Monday July 27, 2026
- Q4: Monday October 26, 2026

Join USSPWDC for AKC Fetch at WagFest!
The United Sunshine States Portuguese Water Dog Club is excited to host AKC Fetch Trials on September 12–13, 2026, in conjunction with the Savannah Kennel Club’s WagFest: Celebrating Responsible Dog Owners and Their Pups at the Guy Minick Youth Complex in beautiful Savannah, Georgia.
Whether you and your dog are just getting started or are working toward advanced Fetch titles, these trials offer a fun, welcoming environment to showcase your teamwork. AKC Fetch is open to all eligible dogs with an AKC number, making it a great sport for both seasoned competitors and newcomers alike.
Entries open August 5, 2026. We encourage exhibitors to enter early, as each trial has a limited number of entries.
While you’re at WagFest, be sure to enjoy everything the event has to offer, including demonstrations, vendors, family activities, and additional dog sports throughout the weekend.
