Water Camps are a wonderful opportunity for PWD owners to mix with others, learn about water basics, learn with distractions and improve on Water Work skills from experienced handler teams!! Whether you are a new PWD owner, new to water work or an experienced handler – USSPWDC Water Camps are for every PWD and their People!

DRY LAND TRAINING EVENTS - 2026
Confidence Starts BEFORE the Splash!
Dry Land Training helps our PWDs build confidence and essential skills on solid ground, setting teams up for success before ever entering the water. Please join us for the following 2026 Dry Land Training Events:
March 7 – Location: Guy Minick Youth Complex, 7216 Sallie Mood Dr., Savannah GA
March 21 – Location: 320 Powerline Road, New Smyrna Beach, FL
This training day is designed for both beginning and advanced teams, focusing on foundational obedience, retrieves, directional work, and water-work simulations – without the pressure of being in the water! Instruction provided by experienced members of the USSPWDC.
These events are free to Members and $20 for Non-members. Lunch is $12 for all handlers and their guests.

USSPWDC 2026 Water Camps (FL and GA)
NSB-FL Location: New Smyrna Beach (NSB Camps) – 320 Powerline Road, New Smyrna Beach, FL
GA Location: Lake Hartwell GA Water Camps – Hartwell Lakeside Park – 330 Hart State Park Road, Hartwell GA
NSB-FL Dates: April 18-19, May 2-3, May 16-17, May 30-31, June 13-14, July 18-19, August 1-2, August 15-16, August 29-30, September 19-20.
HARTWELL Dates: May 29-May 31 (3 days)
USSPWDC Member Pricing is: $30/dog/day. $20/dog/day additional dogs same handler. Lunch is included for Handler. Non-Member Pricing is $40/dog/day. Extra lunches for guests are $12/each.
All Levels and those new to the sport are welcome!
